Although Acupuncture is, of course, beneficial for both men and women, there are aspects of women's health that are truly unique and it is important to recognize this when treating. That is why I have created this separate web site in addition to my general Acupuncture pages, where you can see a more detailed account of Stems and Branches Acupuncture.

In recent years there has been a much greater awareness of certain areas of women's health and the various treatment options that are now available. Acupuncture has come to the forefront of the complementary/alternative medicine field as it is increasingly being shown to be extremely beneficial in the treatment of menstrual problems, menopausal symptoms, infertility and general fertility issues, amongst the other problems unique to women's health.
Many more women are choosing acupuncture as an effective treatment during pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal months. Whatever your age group acupuncture could provide and naturally effective treatment for women's health issues as well as maintaining general fitness and
well-being.
In the past four or five years facial acupuncture, facial rejuvenation, or cosmetic acupuncture has become increasingly popular with those in the public eye. They have found that the twofold benefit of not only looking better but also enjoying better general health has outweighed the other more expensive and, often rather more invasive, facelift and cosmetic procedures.
